HPL82 Sapphire series pressure sensor is composed of sapphire single crystal insulator element, strong stiffness will not occur hysteresis, fatigue and creep phenomenon;Sapphire has very good elasticity and insulation characteristics (within 1000ºC), is not sensitive to temperature changes, even under high temperature conditions, but also has a good working characteristics.Sapphire has strong radiation resistance;The silicon-sapphire sensor uses silicon epitaxy technology to grow a silicon thin film on the sapphire diaphragm, and then uses lithography process to generate silicon bridge, and uses heavy doping process to generate strain resistance.The silicon bridge growing on the sapphire has no P-N node, so it is not sensitive to radiation. At the same time, it is not affected by the upper limit of junction temperature, so higher temperature measuring products can be made.The heavy doping process can reduce the secondary pollution of the silicon bridge at high temperature.Thus sapphire can be used in a variety of complex conditions, environmental occasions.
The sensor has a double diaphragm structure, but the diaphragm structure is composed of: double diaphragm structure product is composed of a titanium alloy measuring diaphragm and a receiving diaphragm.The receiving diaphragm is a sapphire diaphragm fused at high temperature on the titanium alloy diaphragm. The measuring diaphragm and the receiving diaphragm are connected by metal hard connecting rod, and are connected together by fusion welding or laser welding.The measured pressure is transmitted to the receiving diaphragm.Under the action of pressure, the receiving diaphragm of titanium alloy will deform. After the deformation is sensed by the silicon-sapphire sensitive element, the output of the bridge will change, and the amplitude of change is proportional to the measured pressure.The bridge circuit converts the imbalance signal of the bridge into voltage signal output.
